Cancellation & Refund Policy

We understand that travel plans may sometimes change due to unexpected circumstances. If you need to cancel your booking, the following cancellation charges will apply, based on the number of days remaining before the scheduled departure date. This policy also explains how Dhruvd The Unique Tours Private Limited ("Dhruv Tours") returns the balance once a refund is due.

   Cancellation charges

   • 45–31 days prior to departure: 30% of the tour cost.
   • 30–15 days prior to departure: 35% of the tour cost.
   • 14–10 days prior to departure: 40% of the tour cost.
   • 9 days before departure: 70% of the tour cost.
   • 8–4 days before departure: 90% of the tour cost.
   • 3–2 days before departure, or on the departure day: 100% of the tour cost (no refund).

   What is refunded

   The tour cost, less the cancellation charge that applies on the date your cancellation reaches us.

   How long it takes

   Eligible refunds will be processed within 30 days of cancellation.

   Amounts we cannot return

   The total amount for train and flight tickets is settled at the time of booking, and those tickets follow the airline's or Indian Railways' own cancellation rules. They are refunded only to the extent the carrier releases them; where a carrier returns nothing, that portion cannot be refunded.

   Costs you pay directly on tour — entry tickets, boating, horse rides, helicopter rides, porter charges, optional activities, special poojas, rituals and offerings — are not part of the tour cost and do not form part of a refund.

   Additional expenses arising from natural disasters, adverse weather, strikes, governmental restrictions, pandemics or other force majeure events are borne by travellers, as set out in our Terms & Conditions.
